PsycINFO

The PsycINFO^® Psychological Abstracts database provides access to the international literature in psychology and related behavioral and social sciences, including psychiatry, sociology, anthropology, education, pharmacology, and linguistics. Records for virtually all journal articles are accompanied by abstracts. The file covers literature published from 1887-present. All records from 1967-present are indexed using the controlled vocabulary from the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms. PsycINFO^® contains citations and abstracts for journal articles, books, book chapters, reports, and dissertations from Dissertation Abstracts International. Journal material represents substantive articles selected on the basis of relevance to psychology from over 1,700 journals published throughout the world in over 25 languages.

ONTAP^® PsycINFO^® is a training file containing only records entered in PsycINFO^® in 1991.
