World Higher Education Database

The World Higher Education Database (WHED) data, on the Web, includes information available on the higher education systems of some 180 countries and territories worldwide.

A first CD-Rom, the World Academic Database (WAD), containing the combined TRACE and IAU data and published by Macmillan Limited, London, came out in September 1996. It was then updated regularly under the name of World Higher Education Database.
