Scientific Journals’ Automatic Indexing System in RICeST

 

After years of manual indexing, RICeST could achieve production of a trilingual –Farsi, Arabic and English– automatic system for indexing scientific journals of Iran. Such software enjoys algorithm methods to retrieve words, references and bibliographies. ISC’s mission on creating a scientific-technical network for assessing the research performance of Islamic countries involved producing such an automatic indexing system. By comparison with the handle system, more speed and accuracy and controlling different stages of the indexing process could be named as the advantages of the automatic system.
